A selected sound editing of the most beautiful baroque and 19th century arias invites people to connect their device and fill blank spaces in the aria sequence with their own creation and intuition for tones and rhythm. Like in any orchestra the “musicians” need to listen and to feel what their fellow musicians are doing for creating an improvised composition, but this time without any conductor and solely guided by the aria track. As a result they follow more attentively the arias than in normal conditions for getting a better connection to the voices, subjects and emotions.

Ethics Of Technology

EoT Forum at first Beijing Media Art Biennale SEP-OCT 2016. What is the future going to be, and how do we act/react when the use of technology is driven by the business and growth paradigm and where innovation is the new magic and fetishism.

Ethics of Technology

Beijing Media Art Biennale 25/9- 08/10
Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Design Week and HFG-Offenbach, Beijing Media

Under the moniker of an “Ethics of technology”, this event attempts to bring the thinkers, technologists, artist, and practitioners across all fields—every one of us affected together—to discuss the re-articulation and re-configuration of the ethical orders and the distribution of technology’s sensibility.

The installation WONDERWORLD will use one of the latest commercially available EEG (electro-encephalogramm) brain sensors to explore our contemporary subconsciousness and the PPSPV condition (passion, psycho, spirituality, plutonium and violence).
